Maintenance of IBC Tanks

An IBC stands as a reusable container, making it suitable for numerous shipments across various applications, including the transport of food components. Nevertheless, it is imperative that they undergo rigorous cleaning after each use as a reusable vessel. Any form of contamination could potentially jeopardize the quality of the subsequent contents. The cleaning process commonly employs two established techniques: Clean-in-place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-place (COP). These terms pertain to whether portable equipment will be affixed to the container to carry out the cleaning process, or if the container will be relocated to a separate area dedicated for cleaning.
